Barber shop for skyrim

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:01 pm

Am I the only person playing this game that thinks it would be cool to change your hairstyle options and facepaints midgame? I mean Fallout 3 had an in-game hair customization option. I'm not asking for full-on race changes or anything like that, just a chance to get a new hairstyle without starting a new character. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

They're adding that in Dawnguard, or so I've heard.

Read the latest info on Dawnguard, we are getting a npc in the Riften Ratway that can change your features, but not six or race.

I hope we get a normal barber too. I always get annoyed when the only option to change hairstyle is to go to a surgeon. It kind of ruins a bit of the RP... :/

Yeah there is supposidly going to be a NPC in the Ratway that can change your hair, facial features, and paint. Not six or race though.

It would be nice if it was a way to lower your bounty. Would kinda go along with the whole Dark Brotherhood and Thieves guild vibe. But it should cost A LOT of money. Several grand would sound right.

I don't care to start a new character for gender or race, I just don't understand why up until now they didn't have it in the game

I agree with this, but then I want an ordinary barber that is cheap and only changes hair/facial hair/war paint

If it's this kind of feature, okay. If it's like in Dragon Age 2, we can live without it.

All it is is allowing you to change minor features. Hairstyle and color. Scars/warpaint.

Stuff like that. Race and Gender are locked.

And you believe anything they write? When I read that part of the article, I immediately felt that it was a joke, some reference to a bad game.

Perhaps you could have that as the normal option, but then through your ties with the Dark Brotherhood/Thieves Guild you learn that he can do more than that. When you approach him about it then the new dialog comes up that allows you to change facial features.

exactly! I mean, the idea that you could use surgery to remove bounty is a great idea, and I'm not against the surgery function (as long as it works with the lore), but I really don't want to have to go to a surgeon just so I can cut my hair.

It would be amazing if we could have both an ordinary barber in e.g. Solitude and the surgeon in Riften!
