Bard Followers?

My adventures are too quiet. Where can I find a bard to tag along and sing songs to me while I slay dragons?

Oh god that would get annoying fast! Not a bard but the coolest companion I've found is Kharjo, he's one of the traveling caravan Khajiit. He's a pretty awesome warrior type.

Don't think they play any music or sing, but I know you can have Sven (Riverwood) as a follower.

BGS would need to add a travelling bard song if they did that, part of which would go something like this:

When danger reared its ugly head

He bravely turned his tail and fled

Yes, brave Sir turned about

And gallantly he chickened out

Brave brave brave...brave Sir

Brave Sir Robin ran away.
Bravely ran away, away.
When danger rears its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes Brave Sir Robin turned about
He gallantly chickened out.

Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat.
Oh bravest of the brave, Sir Robin.

He is packing it in and packing it up
And sneaking away and buggering up
And chickening out and pissing off home,
Yes, bravely he is throwing in the sponge...

The bard's college faction was a big let down. All you do to become one is go in a dungeon and say a few random things to fill in the poem. That's all! No training in history, music, or speech - AND you don't even get the ability to play instruments at the end!

@grimdeath
I have Kharjo as follower too. But the problem with the cat is, he remains to silent. My old follower was Erik the slayer and on our expeditions, he had something to tell about everything (to much reps but at least he had to say something).

Does he use his Lute as a weapon?

Bravely bold Dovahkiin rode forth from Riverwood.
He was not afraid to die, Oh brave Dovahkiin.
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Dovahkiin.

He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp.
Or to have his eyes gouged out, and his elbows broken.
To take an arrow in the knee and his body burned away,
And his limbs all hacked and mangled Brave Dovahkiin.

His head smashed in
And his heart cut out
And his liver removed
And his bowls unplugged
And his nostrils [censored]
And his bottom burnt off
And his pen--

On top of that the ending is broken. You can finish, but its not right how it ends.

@OP - I agree, having a singing follower, or at least one that does a bit of singing is always more fun. At least the ones we have pvssyr and the pvssyr they have is good (or at least the follower I have is good). But a bard follower that did bits of the bard collection of songs as he/she follows along seems like an obvious choice. I agree it's too bad they didn't do one.

@Pipboy_3000 - That would be great too if the follower was interrupted while performing.
