Got the orders, got the objective to meet troopers outside fort and... nothing. No soldiers there, Imperial or Stormcloak. Objective updated to "take over fort 100% remaining" but no one there.


I did fight a dragon last evening, in Shor's Stone (the village just north of the fort) and waited till morning before going to the fort but surely they don't affect each other? No legionaries helped with the dragon, they were so far away IF THERE WERE ANY.

Suggestions? UESP does not tell much.

The legionaires you have to meet aren't directly outside the fort. They're some way back to the west. If they're still not there, I would just reload before you fast traveled/waited and see what happens.

Nope, no Legionaries around.


I guess I just use console commands to pass this fight. Too bad really, I like big battles.

Found something interesting on the wiki site.

• Clearing your waypoint arrows (having none selected) before being assigned the quest helps to make the imperials appear where they should. Also using the wait feature excessively increases the likelihood of the stormcloaks appearing.

This quest worked smoothly for me. Mine buged out on Rescue from Fort Kastav.
