Beastrace trousers

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 2:08 am

I've put some serious thought into this and I think that it would be impossible for argonians to get thier legs in the leg holes and also thier tales in the tale holes of their trousers without ripping thier pants.

Doesn't seem like they could go legs first because they wouldn't have the clearance to poke the tails through. And if they go tail first then they just have pants hanging on their tales.

Perhaps they can use a shirt for pants, putting the legs through the arm holes, and the tail through the head hole.

You're not allowing for the possibility of buttons here. Put pants on like everyone else, button top section above tail. Viola. Pants on Argonian.

Bleh.
Whose idea was it to dress them in anything more than a loin-cloth and a slave-collar anyway?

Well... Argonians at least.
Khajiit are alright.

Thank you for reminding me of the Dunmer political system and "values." Now, excuse me while I vomit.

To the topic: well, considering how far down the posterior the tail is on Argonians, the alternative is to have pants with... well, with no seat at all.

You're right, this isn't realistic. I want a mod that makes Argonians' pants hang on their tails instead.

I second that! XD

But in the case of OP: I image they would have enough coordination with their tails to figure something out, you know?

Instead of making new trouser for Argonian, why doesn't Argonian adapt and chop off tails, hm?

I contemplated this issue once, but for some reason I never thought the subject was worth bringing up. I'm glad somebody eventually did bring it up, 'cause this thread is roflcopter fuel.

I can see how the buttons would be a nice answer to the problem. The thing is that the pants would have to be extremely tight and customized to the body to avoid the argonians showing some buttcheek through the tale hole

IMO tails kind of change the whole butt modesty thing. Obviously you still have to worry about your other hemisphere but the point is that the demands for clothing should be a bit different for the beast races.

Also, has no one here really considered tunics/skirts/kilts/dresses? I imagine the long, bare-thighed skirts would suit Argonian women quite well. :-)

Reptilian private bits are internal. Why wear pants at all?

Edit: Does the GEICO gecco wear pants?

Ewww, then we've got a lizard harlet walking around pretending everybody can't see her lizard scaled buttcheeks as she waves her tail to and fro

There is still a slit where their male/female parts go on lizzards. Plus, Argonians are really the lizzards we think of apparently they are warm blooded, so maybe they have the full works down there? lol

Actually, isn't the tailbone on humanoids near the top of the pelvis? This would kinda counter-act the possibly of unavoidable plumber's crack for beast races.

While I understand this was half a joke, this is really something to consider. Argonians are lizard-like in many ways, but they are not lizards per se. The line between male and female in real world lizards is really quite faded, as they do not have, ah, "traditional" genitalia. In contrast, Argonians at least appear to be quite human in their distinctions between male and female, and on top of this, it is apparently possible for Argonians to hold sixual intercourse with humans.

Long story short, do not assume too much about the beast races. All we know is that they are at least aesthetically similar to cats and lizards.

Actually, Yoshis DO have sixes, but all of them lay eggs. Yoshi is specifically referrred to as "he" in Brawl.

And while we're discussing Yoshi, it was a saddle, not a harness.
