Beautiful Dragonborn?

Post » Fri Jun 29, 2012 10:37 am

Has anyone ever made a flawless female Dragonborn? I mean, most of the time I play as a female in Skyrim for roleplay purposes, but I don't know if it's me, but I could never make a good-looking female. She always seemed too muscular or boney. Or fat in the face. Or too old. Where was I?

I use the 360.

Tips?

Yes - but I use mods. >_> http://i.imgur.com/rmSVeh.jpg

Honestly, I found that the default female Redguard face looked pretty good from the start - the darker color reduces the effect of some of the skin toning.

model it after someone. I modeled my female Breton after Kitty Pryde, and she looks damn good.

I think my Nord is a little bit too beautiful for her own good, but she's not exactly flawless, with a long scar across her cheek... ;)

My advice: first, beauty is more interesting if it isn't flawless. I gave my Nord that scar so she wouldn't be too good-looking, but I actually think it had the opposite effect. :P (PS3 so no screenshots, sorry... )

Second, go over the presets of the race you choose (if you want flawless, I recommend Nord since they seem to have the smoothest complexion - disclaimer for not having checked out the Redguards since I've never made a Redguard). Remove all scars, dirt, warpaint and strange hairstyles and set the complexion slider to the left. Now you see what they originally look like, and take your pick from there.

Then you can start play around with the sliders, but make sure to memorize (or take pictures if necessary) where they were in the beginning, if you do something wrong and want to change it back. Oh, and set the screen to the brightest, to get rid of as much shadows as possible while you work with the face. Just make sure to change the setting back before you choose skin color.

Take pictures of all the sliders when you're done. Makes it easier if you just want to change some minor detail.

This can help: http://j-u-i-c-e.hubpages.com/hub/better-looking-characters

I still can't make a good looking elf woman to save my life. I tried last night to make a Dunmer. After nearly an hour I just gave up. The heavy wrinkles under the eyes and such just ruin it, even if you cover them in paint or makeup.

If Niamh was the Dragonborn - (which she isn't) - She would be Awesome.
- More Awesome, that is...

I have to say this stuff, she threatens me with terrible things if I don't...

The default Nord is a pretty good starting point. Beyond that, really the best step you can take is to not play on console. After that comes slider-fu.

I used Karliah as model for my Dunmer, made some minor changes and gave her red hair and eyes insted. She looks pretty good IMO, but I'm not really bothered by the wrinkles, so...

If you want to model your character after an existing one, this is a great place to start: http://www.truancyfactory.com/mods/skyrim/skyrim_characters.html :)

I made Conan the Barbarian as a male Nord.. as i'm sure did many others. My Khajiit looks like a beefy sixy tiger, and my Altmer chic looks like a friggan supermodel.. took hours to get that face right lol. Really though you can make almost anything or anyone so long as you're willing to put the time into it. Also remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I find Aela of the Companions to be freaking sixy. Others dispute the point. -chuckles- My current fave is a Nord Witch-Hunter/Werewolf. Amber eyes, kissable ruby lips, faint scar under her left eye, a swirl of crimson war paint of her right cheak, black hair with bangs on the sides and the top drawn back into a tail with the rest left to hang straight at shoulder length. slender build but not so much that it looks like she can't hold a sword. outfited with the saviors hide, and forsworn boots and bracers. To me she looks not just beautiful but feirce and proud.

I don't know why people ask this question. The woman are always flawless and beautiful. I can make a woman look at least late teens. It's the men that need help. You cannot get them to look anything but early 30s, late 40s.

I think my Dragon Born is beautiful, others may not agree. The eyes and soul of a dragon.

My 2nd character is a Nord Female, (called Leila), and I was aiming to model her on Kate Beckinsale, (who's flawless). I didn't get close, but Leila's pretty gorgeous all the same if you ask me! ;)

I use very few mods, mainly just one to smooth out the nose and another to add real red hair.

I think mine are pretty good, but I'm not going for the fashion models that many get by using mods.
