Hi all,

This evening, I finally returned the Skeleton Key to its rightful home, thinkng this would finally "tick" the diamond to become a full member. Sadly, even after returning and talking to everyone, the diamond isn't filled.

The quest is also bundled with the 24 unusual gem collecting, which I've not done.

I've checked online for assistance, but all the sources say I just need to "accept" Brynolf's request and that should "get me in".

I'm concerned if I find the remaining gems (I've 12), this will end up like Esbern's dragon bone/scale delivery and not resolve.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

I'm not sure what's gone wrong about not being accepted into the guild, but I can say for a fact that the 24 gems quest has nothing to do with it. I did not collect any of the gems with my thief character and I was able to be accepted into the guild.

Yeah, it's in the guild where you actually learn about the gems and are given the official quest for it.

I can not find those last 7, FFS!


After the skeleton key quest, look for Brynjolf in the Thieves Guild. He should be standing in the middle of The Ragged Flagon-Cistern.
