So I have zero interest in the DLC as I don't care for either vampires or werewolves. Has anything noteworthy been announced for future patches, or perhaps even future DLCs?

Well we just got patch 1.6, and "Hearthfire" was copyright/trademark/whatever-ed by Bethesda, just like "Dawnguard" was months before its release. So theres that.

Well patch 1.6 added mounted combat and a few more things. And just like the poster above said, Hearthfire seems to be a new DLC coming, but we're not sure yet.

I'm kind of 50/50 on the dlc too

does anyone know if vanilla skyrim will still receive patches, or are we required to keep up with all DLCs to get those bug fixes?
