Being a Mage is so fun!

I've never really tried being a Mage in skyrim or any other TES game but it's so fun...Very interesting play style. Summoning atronachs and reviving dead bodies to fight for you is way more enjoyable them just a hack and slash sword fight..no offense to people who use this...wouldn't you guys agree

Not as rewarding for me as feeling a solid hit. I think mages are cool, just don't really like playing them. Skyrim is especially good for mages because
each spell has a completely different animation and effect. But Destruction's kind of broken, and they took away some really essential spells (open lock, for example).

Being a mage in skyrim is cool but not as fun as previous ES titles.

I tend to agree. I'm playing a mage character right now, and it is more fun than my Two Handed Weapon oriented warrior, I think.

I also really liked playing a mage in Oblivion. Even more so, since there were many more spells and magic was more powerful than Skyrim. But it's still fun in Skyrim.

However, I never quite got into a mage character in Morrowind.

Neither, mainly because I kept failing at casting spells.

I find that there's fewer options, but they are typically more enjoyable than they used to be. chain lightning can be so much fun :P

Using magic can be fun, though I prefer to be a durable tank, fighting on the front lines.

When playing mmorpgs, or a game with a party setup, then I'm usually a mage character, just not when solo.
