Berserker Rage.......Wow : V

On my first play through I was a Nord, and was relatively unimpressed by the nordic power (I can't help but feel that spells designed to avoid conflict are cowardly.) I've recently begun my second play through, and I'm an orc. For those of you who don't know, the orc's power is called 'Berserker Rage,' which simultaneously doubles your damage and cuts incoming damage in half...which brings me to my point:

Wow....this is spell is POWERFUL!

I just killed a frost troll at level nine using only a steel war axe (normal difficulty, but still....)

I'd wager this is by far the most powerful inborn power in the game. Do y'all agree??

Yeah, Berserker Rage is the most powerful racial in the game, especially for a melee character. An Orc Warrior who utilizes that racial and the right perk choice/gear is virtually invincible. It's great.

Combine Berserker Rage, dual wielding, and Elemental Fury. You get a raging whirlwind of death.

The most damage output possible is an Orc Assassin backstabbing with a Daecric Dagger with the gloves from the Dark Brotherhood to double backstab damage..plus Orc Racial..you can crit for like 30k damage lol.

To answer your question -- Yes! Definitely! My current character uses one handed weapons, but I've used 2H before and, for the most part, it seems just as effective.

This spell doesn't discriminate among weapon choices!!

My Stealth playthrough of Skyrim features an Orc character. Berserker rage is pretty good with sneak attacks too. :goodjob:

I've had an Orc wielding a 2 hander. never used his racial. still seemed to be the most badass and strongest hitting race in the game, he literally destroyed his targets, everything was two shots at the worst on Adept. and i didn't even used warhammers, just greatswords. really fun to play but sometimes you want more challenge
