Best Daedric Weapon?

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 7:11 am

So I've gotten the ability to smith Daedric stuff, and was wondering what weapon I should use. Right now I'm in full legendary with a legendary sword and shield. I've never really liked shields, so I'm probably going to dual wield a one handed weapon or take a two hander. Question is, which one?

I've heard that the war hammer has the highest damage per hit in the game, but it's also a lot slower than the regular 2h. So yeah, what should I take?

Also, what are the best enchantments to stick on it? 100 enchanting.

Shock for enchantments.

I'm using war axe and destruction magic.

Depends on how you like to fight. With One handed damage bonus perks, I honestly feel the Daedric dagger is the best weapon, crazy high damage, quick attack speeds. But all weapons are pretty much the same damage wise

Swords do ok Damage, Axes are a little better than swords, but a bit slower, and maces hit the hardest, but are the slowest.

Its the same for Two handed weapons and one handed

One handed Daedric sword kicks ass. Get the + one handed damage enchantment on a couple items, plus the one handed perks, you will kick an ass or two!

Highest straight forward damage is dual wielding Daedric Axes with the Axe perk to make enemies bleed (although doesn't work on undead), put two elemental Damage enchants on one of them and Fiery Soul Trap and Absorb Health on the other to help you stay alive and keep your weapons charged.

I don't feel too amazing with Daedric quite honestly. I went through levels 1-35 as a Mage and am now transferring over to a tank type style. Not working out too well, as I have 15 in 2h skill and about 40 in 1h.

So most weapons have similar overall damage output? So I can just go with whatever weapon I like? :D

im pretty sure duel wielding beats out 2h weapons

there has been a lot of recent talk on dual wielding in http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1310006-complete-character-design-freedom-damage-resist-caps-and-ridiculous-damage-thread-6/. mostly about which weapon type is best for the associated perk.

lately i have been using mace left and sword right. most things go down in one or two hits anyways, but if i bumped up the difficulty that might change.

When I get down to some serious enchanting, I'm going to try out Absorb Fatigue first for my melee weapon. Haven't decided what I'll put on my bow.

Swinging dual wielded weapons at the same time is going to do more damage than a two hander, pretty sure. But you also can't move while swinging both swords, which you can do with a 2h.
