Best Light Armour in the game?

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 1:29 pm

I am just curious if there are any better light armours than the Nightingale armour?

I received the highest lvl version of the Nightingale armour (Enchantments wise, I assume I also got the highest lvl armour rating as well) and then I proceeded to upgrade the armour and weapons to the Legendary status so they are the best I can make them, I really like the look of the Nightingale armour with the Prime mod I think it looks amazing and wouldn't mind wearing it for the rest of the game. But if there are better light armours to be had I am more likely to go with that even if I don't like the looks so much as I don't play in 3rd person so I barely see it anyway.

So can you think of any comparable armours? Please try to just say the name of the armour and not the part of the quest where you get it or anything like that if you don't mind. I don't want big spoilers!

Thanks.

it all depends on the enchantments, db armor set is as good as the nightingale, just has different enchantments for a different type of character. if you really want something better than nightingale you can craft better...

Glass armor is already better, or at least it was for me.. I was level 32, with 80ish smithing, and I upgraded both the Nightingale and Glass Armor.. the chest was at 156 for glass, and 125 (or 128, can't remember) for Nightingale.. so yeah, Glass is already better, and clearly dragonscale is way better

It's only a useful question in regards to unique or default items. Crafting makes the answer, "which do you think is prettiest?"

Elven is the lightest set (by a large margin) and requires the least amount of perks to hit the cap. However, the helmet is disgusting.

Best armour umm depends on what you want from it, assuming you mean unique/special armour, Ancient Shrouded is the other great light armour type (its a stronger/ultimate version of the Dark Brotherhood armour), and the thief armour.

If you dont mean unique/special then any crafted light armour with double enchants (by a character with good skill levels)
