Best light helm for Barbarian? : V

Playing as a Nord barbarian that wears only light fur, hide, or scaled armor. I would like to find a helm that goes good with this; the hide/scaled helms I've seen so far I don't really like, but I have only done a few quests so i'm not that far in the game. Are there some good helms that go with this type of armor that I can find later on?

I dont like the majority of the helmets either. But I find that if you put a helmet as a favourite & hotkey it, then you can just click the hotkey & wear it in battle for the added armour bonus & then remove it all other times.

Well, I'd say Iron or Ancient Nord... but both are heavy... :shrug:

There's a fur helmet in the White River Watch across the river from Honningbrew Meadery.

Leather is probably as close as you'll get with light armour.

the best barbarian I believe is Ygnol helmet.

I perfer the look of the heavy armor helmets so I use them even if I have light armor on the rest of my body. If you use smithing and a low level heavy armor skill you should balance out the armor rating on it to match anything you get that is light armor.

I like the look of the heavy iron helms myself and was considering doing just that. I do alot of smithing so maybe it will work, I just hate that it negates several perks of the light armor skill tree just by putting on a heavy armor helmet.

Another vote for the Stormcloak Officer Helmet here. You should always try to fool your enemy into thinking you have more than one pair of eyes.

Stormcloak officer helmet, Savior's hide, fur bracers and forsworn boots. That's the best light armor 'fur' look I've found.
