Current/ future


Now.. for the future ima guessing a lot of you are thinking "Skyrim". But i think it's not going to be as great as you do although maybe im bitter because i expected perfection(I want to spear tod, sad irony) and the real dark horse is going to be prey 2. Because prey 2 looks incredible.

Why does it matter if it's published by Bethesda if they're not the ones developing it?

Best-looking? RAGE... hands down. In the near future, it should be DOOM 4... or are you not referring to graphical appearance?

I've seen some screenshots and video of Rage, and that game looks amazing.

Rage for sure in terms of technical and graphical power. That said I do think Skyrim is aesthetically superior due to the art style and atmosphere, which isn't to say I don't think Rage's is great but I much prefer the fantasy setting over the post apocalyptic one (also one of the reasons I prefer OB over FO3).

Dishonored sound pretty freaking amazing right now. Prey 2 sounds decent but I thought the first one was really bad.I know they are changing things up a lot but I'm iffy on it.

At the times of Morrowind, my friend could not stop fanning how great it looks, he eventually got me to played it

Toss up between RAGE and Skyrim for me. RAGE looks better at first glance, but Skyrim has more substance.

When I first saw Syrim I was dazzled, but after looking at Rage I have to say it looks better then Skyrim.

Rage looks nicer, looks are apparently all it has though.

honestly.. I won't really know until I can really see how skyrim looks off of trailers and game play videos. I know game play videos can show a lot, but I am not convinced yet... I am leanng more towards skyrim, but RAGE does look graphically stunning. Though that's all its good for...

Aesthetically, Fallout 3. Graphically, Rage.

Judging the games purely on artistic merit, rather than on how high the poly count or how detailed the textures might be, I'd have to say it's a toss up between Morrowind and the Shivering Isles expansion. Both of them took everything I love about bizarre fantasy worlds and turned them up another notch. Sure Morrowind might not look all that pretty in this day and age, but the art direction itself is impressive no matter how dated the graphics themselves become.

It's a shame RAGE had so many issues on PC at launch, otherwise it could've been one of the first real good publishings of Bethesda that is not TES/Fallout related.

Prey 2 and Dishonored are sounding very promising too, gameplay wise. And Prey 2 appears to have really nice graphics, and Dishonored has the art director from Half Life 2 on their team.
