probably a pure thief

but to be honest, everything works great. my main character is a warrior with heavy armor, sword and shield.

seriously, shield + argonian racial ability = invincible. feels like cheating.

I've always been an argonian mage ever since daggerfall, so I wouldn't know that. Thanks. But yes, argonians are the best race by FAR.

There is no right or wrong play style for any race. Do not limit yourself based off what would be the best, choose what would be the funnest for you to roleplay. I have an Argonian mage.

Yeah, Argonians are pretty versatile, but when I make Argonian builds, I generally stick with theif/assasin, but I have an affinity for magic, so that plays into them as well. They are deffinately best suited for being a theif and or assasin.

I always think of Argonians along with Dunmer to be the assassin races of Tamriel (in terms of lore).

Argonians are inter linked with the Dark Brotherhood lore (Shadowscale assassins = All Argonians born under the Shadow star sign are taken once hatched to be DB)

Dunmer have the Morag Tong secret assassin group as part of their society. Also the original God-ancestor is Boethiah who is the Daedric prince of deciept, plots of murder, assassination etc

Argonians are good in assassin skills (light armor, blade, bow etc)

also good in Alchemy & Mysticism skills I believe.

and histskin makes argonians great no matter what they plan on doing, if im caught on my assassin i can heal while unleashing a flurry of hits from my twin daggers, as a warrior i could tank talos himself, and a mage no longer has any fear of melee combat, argonians ar the greatest race

Do what you want dude, all races in this game are basically equal...any starting "bonuses" get negated within the first 5 levels of your character

...and Nord skin works the best.

Anyway, play whatever appeals to you. I play an Argonian that began as a sneaky archer, but later took an affinity for conjuration magic. Conjure Dremora Lord to tank, then conjure bound bow to offer ranged support. Works great for me.

I might suggest just playing without adding perks until you find what you like - then begin adding perks to those respective trees.

At level 67, Histskin is still a lifesaver.

My Argonian is a light armor, dual wielding sword/maces warrior.
