Best poisons to use?

Or should I say, which poisions do you normally prefer? Paralyze goes without saying, but what about others? I can't seem to make a decent damage health potion (compared to other effects for the same skill), and lingering damage health is just too weak overall.

Weakness to X poisons seem to make good combos, especially if you have an enchanted bow.

Paralyze+lingering damage health is my favorite, lingering damage health is far from weak.
Slow+ damage health is my second favorite.

I'll second those*. (And add Dam. M + Dam. M regen for those pesky mages)

*[Lingering dam. will do more overall dam. than Dam. H and when combined w/ paralyze, they'll continue to take dam. while they're comatose -- shoot/hit, leave them lay while their health drains.]

Jarrin Root based Damage Health Poison.
1600 damage anyone?
Too bad you can only make 1 potion without mods or console commands.

Dang beat me to it! But anyways, the Jarrin root makes the most powerful damaging potion possible, but if you use it for a potion you have to do the quest where they give it to you another way, really not a big deal though.

Well, I can top the Jarrin root now (Ely's Uncapper can leave you majorly OP'd (though your level may get ridiculously high))

Honestly though, I get bored of being strong pretty fast. I like being the underdog, you have to work more for your treats.

Apply paralytic poison to your arrows and shoot enemies that stands near a ledge. Let gravity do the rest :teehee:

I'd say that Weakness to X poisons are near-mandatory if you play a spellcaster on higher difficulties.
Frenzy poison is also a party-pleaser. Apply it and shoot at that Hagraven or Briarheart in the middle of a forsworn camp, and watch them go to town!

I've almost got my alchemy to 100 and I love the lingering damage health poisons. Its great to shoot an enemy and have them charge at you only to collapse and die at your feet.

i like damage health with a weakness to poison. simple, i know, but simple is aways better than situational, although the latter can be much more fun

It's easily Paralyze, especially the higher duration ones.
