Hello guys
Sry for my english
I found a guy who reviews games complete honest without any paper for the mouth.I think he is one of the honest guys in the market and can explain the problems from the game very well.
He made a GREAT review of Brink that i think the Devs have to watch that. His critism is absolutely right and can help for further games.
Check out and think about what he said.

In my personal opinion even though it hurts me to say this, i cant help but agree with Joe. I love Brink, in my opinion it was money well spent, but everything he said in that video was almost 100% accurate. The A.I svcked they didn't do anything 90% of the time, the campaign was the exact same as multiplayer nothing unique about it (which I personally thought was the biggest flaw of the game) and there was no character development, I really wanted to know what exactly happened on the ark with these characters. Everything else though was kick a$$, the weapons, the "MASSIVE" customization possibilities, the abilities are awesome, the parkour, and the body types. I just hope they fix the obvious problems for Brink 2, if they make a Brink 2. (which i hope they do)

Hell yeah! Joe is pretty damn honest about the games, and well, is usually pretty on the dot. Even openly subjective about it. (Not just saying he's in the right.)

My only problems with this review are two he mentions relatively early on:
The "parkour" complaints (HARDLY USE THEM?! WHAT?!). I mean honestly... I LIVE of these moves and dodges and he's right - it isn't parkour as we know it (the flashy, over-compensating, whose-that-[censored]-in-the-wife-beater-running-on-my-roof sport)... It's the ORIGINAL "military" parkour... Look it up.

Secondly... [censored] I FORGOT!!!
... Uuuuuh...
..... Sooooooooooomething....
...
...
OH! That's right!
The command posts - while I agree they're essentially useless he got the use wrong. He said they're for nothing more than changing class, weapons or refilling ammo... Yes and no.... Yes because they do that, and no because they do MORE. They add extram health and supply pips (the more useful supply pips) and if an engineer buffs it, you double the effect... Pretty useful but only when an engineer buffs it.

As with most reviews, he clearly did not play for too long... However, of all the reviews I HAVE seen, this one is damn near perfect. I agree with MOSTLY everything outside of that. Just nitpicking here.

.Command Posts are really useful here is one major way I think they are best.

Engineer: Can upgrade an Hp Post/Pip and double its bonus helping the team a [censored] load!

Oh wait L00fah said it already... Everything else I was good with.

Best review I've seen on this game. No denying that. You couldn't get a better review from Abraham Lincoln if you tried.

The one thing I can't agree with is "WHERE IS THE COD-RATIO!?!?" (eh, K/D-Ratio, of course).

I must criticize this statement as games before Call of Duty has a kill to death ratio. Hell, Doom had it. I must call this a unnecessary CoD criticizing statement.
Not to mention, it's something many people like to know, even if it isn't supposed to be a focus, it's a major driving point.

Yes and No.

Clearly Angry Joe (make of that what you will, as a review source, at least) had to fight to enjoy the game, and certainly I'm not denying that a lot of people's experience with BRINK will have been/will be the same as his, but you can still find fun in it in the right situation, and where BRINK is good, it's great. Sure it's not a contender against the big 4 online shooters for console, but outside of those 4 nothing is - that's why they are what they are.

Would it make it to top 10? Yes
Would it make it to top 5? At a push
Does it deserve your time? Yes
Are you guaranteed to enjoy it a lot? Hell No.

While the review is OBVIOUSLY dated (9 days after the game's release) I agree with it completely. Thankfully a lot of the technical issues with AI balancing, lag and texture popping are a non-factor (on PS3 anyway), but as much as I like the game, it's still a long way from being above average. They need more content...period. That's the only thing hold Brink back from being 4-5/10 game IMO.

I'm still ROFLing @ the Real-Life Parkour clips! When that dude tried jumping rooftop-to-rooftop and lands on his BACK owww!..

But nothing compares to when dude nut-shots himself on the concrete blocker!!.. Like why would you DO THAT?! O.e

He proves alot of valid points though... ALOT. I love when he was talking about the AI that had me going!

The Parkour clip with the kid and cat jumping over the railing was funny and brutal. How in the hell do you land on your face? Hopefully the kid turned out alright, he looked like he turned out his own lights.

Anyway, the review for the most part was on point. There are many disappointments and you do literally have to force yourself to enjoy the game due to technical issues and lack of humans (or humans playing tactically). These are the results for rushing out your game.

He mentioned that SD promised a brand new mode and maps, I’ve seen the maps but can’t seem to find the new mode/s. Am I missing something?

here is what happens on the ark, the world floods slowly they are building an ark, then the world quickly floods they move it away the countries hear about it and race to get there, more and more people come so they built what is now container city the slum of the place. then war happens.

I agree with this guys about pretty much everything (except for command posts being useless, the kill/death ratio, and the parkour being useless).........at launch. Now, this game has very little lag (with my internet, it actually lags less than COD: Black Ops), the AI are way better, and grenades seem to do more. I agree with him about the story entirely. I hope they make a Brink 2 or a book or something, just so I can get an amazing story, out of an amazing setting. Also this game was not meant to be a K/D ratio game. I actually love the fact that it doesn't tell me my K/D.
