Best RPG & Elder Scrolls Ever

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 7:41 pm

Just want to come out and say hi to everyone. I've played all of the previous 'Elder Scrolls' games and this one is not only the best but the best RPG ever to hit the market. I can't even begin to imagine how much and how long went into development. Sorry if I missed where it was mentioned. I have the PS3 version and loving it.

My first playthrough was a Redguard using heavy armor and two-handed weapons and then branching off into one-hand weapons, archery, light armor. And of course I missed a ton of quest. I made it to level 58 then started a new character after beating the main quest.

Now I'm playing a High Elf Pure Mage and the amount of damage he puts out is sheerly incredible. I'm only level 41 with this guy but I'm taking my time and trying to get every side quest that I missed the first time.

Now after that long winded post I do have some questions:

1. Is there any rumors or talk of future DLC?
2. Has anyone found the Easter egg The Headless Horseman? Or is it just a rumor?
3. What house does everyone like the best that you can buy? I bought the first time the house in Whiterun. The second time I bought the one in Solitude.

1. They have confirmed it will be DLC akin to the FO3 DLCs.
2: I've seen him.
3: I chose house based on my character, but I fancy the Whiterun house myself.

@Tdroid: What do you mean by ''it will be DLC akin to the FO3 DLC''? Where was that confirmed?

Todd Howard said the DLC would be expansions, much like the Fallout 3 DLC.

I totally agree with you! Skyrim is amazing! Although, the previous TES games were amazing, too! :)

Yes, I've seen the headless horseman on my first toon (lvl 56 Nord)! I'm also on my 2nd toon right now. I am playing through the Imperial story line now (Imperial lvl 34).

Hmm, my first toon owns a house in Whiterun, Markarth, Solitude and Windhelm and I must say, the Windhelm home is definitely my favorite, next to Markarth.

Have fun all :) (I'm at work but I spent times on the Skyrim forums, since I'm ADDICTED! LOL)

I agree with all your sentiments, though I did love the previous games as well (even Daggerfall, despite having finally given up on it after one too many times falling through the scenery).

1. sounds like other people know more about than I.

2. I saw him, and followed him across half of Skyrim. I got a great screen shot of us side by side, and as I was riding Shadowmere I thought of it as "War and Death on the roads of Skyrim"

3. With a mod that adds a forge to it, the one in Solitude.

You really don't need to ask us, I can't imagine people going back to find interviews before the game was released...
Todd Howard confirmed it in lots of interviews anyway.
