I'm new to New Vegas but I was a player of Fallout 3 in which I just created a Character which used every type of weapon, Every type of Armour . ETC.. Is this the way to go In Vegas? Because to be honest I don't think it was the way to go in fallout 3 either.

In this game, you have to specialise more, as you can't get all stats or pecial to full. So I'd say pick your playstyle (e.g. guns, explosives, unarmed) and build from that, you can suceed with any playstlye.

Depends what you're aiming for. More of an economic build, fighting build, intelligent build?

There are endless amounts of threads discussing this.

My advice: Search the forums. And if that doesn't help, just experiment. The game is the sort where you can play it endlessly and always do things a different way. If your first character fails miserably, start again.

P.s, speech is the key. That is all.

Energy weapons

i generally go for a sniper guy so i use guns, sneak and repair as my 3 main skills but i level speech, medicine and science because it makes the game slightly easier

my advice is to level the thing your good at to a high level and the less important skills to a low
