Hey guys, just wondering in what any of you's think is the most effective method in beating these [censored]s. I've defeated two of them so far out of the nine on expert difficulty with much struggle. The first being Havoraak or whatever he's called in the Evil In Waiting quest; this guy kept one hitting me with his lightning bolt attack, as I only managed to kill him by hiding behind one of the pillars to avoid his attacks whilst using my bow and fire breath shout on him when given the opportunity to do so. The only time where I managed to hit him via melee was at the beginning whilst he was coming out of his tomb in order to give me a head start, but after that, I had to run away like a scared little kid. It took me 15 minutes to beat him overall. The second dragon priest (something the mad) was a bit easier to kill, as I was better equipped, but still had to constantly keep running around and take cover. I finished him off as a werewolf in order to stop him from attacking me back. I found a third priest whilst making my way to the quest marker of the 'Daedra's Best Friend' quest and he is just impossible, as you end up fighting him at the top of a mountain after absorbing a dragon shout, where there is little cover or space to move around. So I'm just wondering what are the best items, weapons or general methods to use against these [censored]s. Also, please tell me in what you think is the hardest dragon priest. Thanks.

Use that dagger that kills things in one hit. Ha....

I find hiding like a baby and sending in 2 daedra lords tends to kill about anything, long as my magicka potions don't run out. Those guys are beasts.

I usually sneak up behind them and x30 damage dagger backstab them. If it doesn't kill them it gets them down to a sliver of health.

Shoot him in the knee with an arrow and he will stop attacking you. Next time you see him he will be working as a guard somewhere.

Seriously though, you could try shouting him off the mountain which may hurt him and put you in a better position to snipe him to death.
The hardest Dragon Priest is in my opinion.

Pretty much. It took two 30x attacks with a dwarven dagger at level 10 to kill Krosis.

Other than that, all of these guys are strictly magic-based. Get some resist gear going and you're invincible.

resist gear and magicka damage weapons (for two ?). they melee for crap

Stick them with the pointy end.

No seriously, my method was to hit fast and hard with my two-handed sword improved up to ~79 points of damage. Chug potions. Have my companion hit him with dwarven arrows. Nothing special, but it did work.

put difficulty setting to 'Novice', you will win easy then

Send a friend in first...

Breton+Dragonskin+Lord Stone (Or Atronach Stone with v1.2)

That should make the priest a rather trivial affair.
