Pretty sure this was already built- didn't they take this on the road when they did all the conventions? So all they're really doing is paying to have it installed in the office. Besides, what does it matter? It's freaking epic! I would have loved to have a miniature version of this rather than Alduin in the special edition.

hm... i think stone

but hollowed out stone

or

clay, that is used to make pots, then hollowed out then painted and detailed

its impossible to carry pottery/stone that large with just 4 people unless its hollowed out

It's the same wall they took around to all the trade shows in the year before release. What's really special about it is the plaque they put on it in dedication to Adam Adamowicz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Adamowicz) who passed away in February. He was the artist who designed it and much more in his many years with Bethesda.

I never knew of the man and then I find out he also worked for Jaleco, which was or is a company that made many good games. He died too early! Too early. Why must the awesome die early?!

Cigarettes can do that...

That wall would have been a nice collector's edition bonus (j/k). If they were carrying it around everywhere, it couldn't have been made of stone or anything too expensive.

Without looking at the pictures most likely out of plastic.

Beautiful...but would look nicer with some darker carpet around it and some darker paint on the wall. That yellow...

Well looking at the picture, I don't think it's plastic. Most likely some sort of hollowed out clay mold that was then detailed by hand.

What's it made out of?
My guess? Resin, plaster or papier-mache like most of the props used in the movie industry.

I'm sure it's made out some something ridiculously light. They didn't hire movers.

Yes, look at the thin orange ropes they are lifting it with. Must be a resin of some kind.
