After playing BF3 again recently, going through the Platoons postings and noticing that while I was off playing Skyrim, Dead Space 2 and Dues Ex:HR bundles. That the platoon had lost a few members and some of the rest were screaming at me to come back and play; which I always intended to do.

Thing is I was just thinking in a reply to someone else in another forum. Wouldn't it be cool if Bethesda went the way of Danger Close and got DiCE to do a MP addon for Skyrim. Rather than a persistant state MMO or something, you could have in game lobbies and play out the Stormcloak Rebellion, Imperials and Aldimeri Dominion wars for supremacy on a micro scale.

Squad rush 3-way battles. Massive battles (ALl OUT WAR) with NPCs to pan out the numbers (would add another level of tactics to such a game), the ingame perks & shouts could have a whole different dynamic. Objective based skirmishing on massive maps. It'd be the best thing since sliced bread as I get sick of guns but not team based MP wars, they're fun. Add dragons into the mix in some way. Even Squad based survival modes, neverending waves against your little squad of sabatours or assult teams.

Anyway, its just something I was wondering what people might think. Yes I know they need to fix the game first, I am still wondering what people might think of an idea like this. Would you pay for such a mod? I know I would. I'm eager to see how my char would stack up to other chars in an MP mode of classes. BF3 is nothing like COD. Its all about working within your limits as part of a team. Though I like COD too... ahhh hell who am I fooling, I like all games like I like all food!
