I was very happy to see this little tidbit of news on gameinformer.com last night.

I've already decided to buy Skyrim's soundtrack. I did spend quite a bit of time in Oblivion, and the music is good. But, I havent played any of the other games on this list, other that Fallout 3, and I don't have a memory of the music from that game. Are any of the other soundtracks for Morrowind and the other games on the list worth buying?

I would suggest Morrowind. After Skyrim and Oblivion, Morrowind is my next favorite.

I'll have to check out Morrowind's soundtrack. I'll need to get a PC someday so I can actually play Morrowind. Oblivion's opening theme was amazing. I liked it almost as much as Dragonborn. I'll probably buy Oblivion's soundtrack as well.

Oblivion is my personal favourite soundtrack, but Skyrim's is also stunningly beautiful. I'm a fan of Morrowind's aswell, but I don't
feel Jeremy Soule (the composer of the soundtracks) really "found himself" before Oblivion. The music in Oblivion and Skyrim is
much more elaborate and epic if you ask me - more meat on the bone if you catch my drift.

Now, I will leave and never return before I get my head bitten off by Morrowind-elitists.

I never played Morrowind, but I heard one of the complaints was that you were playing in a barren/volcanic wasteland, and the soundtrack was too majestic and it didn't really fit, but people are too nostalgic to notice.
