Bethesda hasn't shown any interest in pursuing blackpowder weapons in the past.

Charcoal can be used as coal, which is used for smelting ores and making tor....oh, wait, wrong game. I wish there were a use for it, but I can't think of any just now.

Potassium nitrate? Are you looking to preserve food? Maybe they'd let us craft salt piles with it.

Why do you want explosives when you can blow stuff up with your mind? That's regression.

Imagine the damage you could do to him in the 2 minutes it takes to reload.

Redguards have cannons on their ships.

That leaves room to fire on Horkers and Snow Bears.

You want firearms, when there are more important things missing? Cider for example. Dlc with Dwemer scratters is what we need, finally a proper use for all those apples.
Oh, and saunas.

Speaking of charcoal, anyone ever found a tree to chop? I think I ran into every tree in Skyrim and not a one to chop (and yup, I have all the tools you can pickup in the game even if they are not usable....yet)

I even tried using the lumber mill, I can cut a log in half, but if I click on the cut pile, it just warps me back to the main pile and I drop another log.

I still don't understand why we can't make apple pies. Maybe someone will come up with a brewery mod so we can brew our own ciders and beers.

Yup, that's one thing I miss, going back to the old Ultima days where you could use ovens to bake bread and pies. Skyrim already has almost everything else, but would be cool to use lumber, cloth and Dwemer oil to make your own torches, smithing to make your own lockpicks and even add a carpentry skill to make furniture for your homes (and even build your own)

I mean if you are gonna sandbox... do it right! :bunny:

Where the dragon tongue grows there are various cavaties that emit steam. This steam, as found in areas around Yellowstone, has a tendancy to smell very much like sulfur. That scent means that there are vast quantities of sulfur deposits just below the surface, which means it should only require a mining pick to retrieve Sulfur.

Potassium Nitrate, on the other hand, is a bit more difficult to find. It is usually extracted from Nitrogen-rich soil through a filtering and drying process. Since none of that technology exists in the game, Potassium Nitrate would be extremely difficult to include.

Wait a few years, maybe the science will catch up with your dreams.

Potassium Nitrate can easily be refined from certain waste products that arent scarce.
Saltpeter is a mineral.

Meanwhile, TES already has gunpowder.
Redguard featured cannons.

That's why don't get. Why is it not possible to make other foods that are in game? Sweetrolls, Apple Pies, Bread, Baked Potatoes?

Also, what are the windmills for. If I select 'Use Grinder', nothing happens.
