BETHESDA STOP TAKING BRIBES

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 2:14 pm

This is a call for Bethesda to stop taking bribes to make exclusive DLC!!

XBOX, PS3 and PC users are all equally valid fans and should be treated as such.

What you are currently saying is that you care more about money than giving the fans all the same treatment. PC and PS3 users are not second rate fans.

Pete Hines said: "We're excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox

Good old marketing spin. It sounds so positive, doesn’t it?

The reality is he’s alienated a lot of PC and PS3 users with this statement and doesn’t seem to care? We don’t even know if we will get the DLC at this stage, but after being treated like this, why would we want it?

Anyway, message me if you want Pete and I’ll tell you how to treat the Fallout community fairly. I’d think as a VP you’d already know this, but the dollar signs have obviously clouded your judgement at the moment. But I have faith that you’ll come to your senses eventually.

Regards,

James

Okay, I have to say I'm tired of the exculsitivity too, but would people EVER stop making these topics?

I swear there are four locked topics about this from today.

Please try not to confuse a rather normal business issue with an illegal activity like bribery. A little patience and history should tell you that probably all platforms will get the DLC at some point. And if it doesn't, well each platform has their exclusives. I was pretty bummed Red Dead Redemption was not for PC... but at the end of the day, it's a game, not the fate of nations.

Also, we have ongoing threads about the DLC. No need for a new topic that isn't really a discussion, more of a general complaint.
