Actually in this case yes. Bethesda has a track record of selling games with these same types of issues, and yet people lined up by the millions to buy this one on release day. If this were the very first game Bethesda had ever released with issues it'd be a different story, but you know the old saying about fooling someone twice...
And that's not to say Bethesda shouldn't have done a better job pre-release, but I do place some of the blame here on over-eager consumers.
I wouldn't buy that for two reasons:
1. Bethesda flat out said the PS3 version was getting special attention (or whatever, I'm paraphrasing)
2. There are a TON of consumers who don't have the time or means to troll the web checking our reviews of previous titles, especially per console. Say if you are a semi-enthusiastic gamer and get one of the target agnostic magazines, then you would only hear the rave reviews of beth's games, and likely only find out about broken stuff like fo3 and fonv AFTER the fact.
