Nobody knows what Dawnguard is like, so nobody would know if you should wait or not.

um, just make a new character when Dawnguard expansion is available.

Alot of people are going to use new characters when playing Dawnguard expansion anyway. More fun and challenging that way.

Create a new game now until all the DLC is released. There's no point in just waiting for Dawnguard.

I deleted all my characters and am focusing on one main one and applying all my experience to making it perfect. Just going with a plain sneak archer with no smithing or enchanting and only a bow, no melee weapons.

Not even going to join a faction except for the dark brotherhood and this is the gal i'm bringing into dawnguard.

No you should start your new one right now imo.

Your probably going to want a fairly fleshed out character for Dawnguard.

It's coming in a month or 2.

So depending on how good a player you are you'll probably have a 20ish-30ish level character.

So if you start your character now you will likely have done most of the quests you want to, and will have raided at least have the dungeons in the game.

So (if you play anything like me) you'll be at the point in the game where you still have stuff to do, but you've done all the most fun parts, then Dawnguard will be out and it'l probably have enough juice to keep you going full speed to at least level 50.

I'll be honest that is my personal plan for getting ready for Dawnguard. It might work for you though.

I think it's best that you wait for Dawnguard because we don't know will the volikhar vampire bloodline have different pros and cons. Such as boosts to conjuration and/or destruction magic instead of sneak and illusion like the cyrodil vampires. I predict the weaknesses to fire and sunlight will be there except I have a feeling that sunlight will be fatal to the volikhar vampires due to them having more powers. At least once you know the volikhars pros and cons you can plan your perk points to compliment the pros and counteract the cons accordingly.

I already made a character who's gonna be using Crossbows, but i'm not sure weather it's better to wait or not.
