We all know TES will finish eventually, but what will Bethesda take us to next? What time period? What technology? What fictional place? What will bethesda do, beyond TES?

I reckon Bethesda would probably go out of business or be bought out and forced to make FPSes before they actually were done with TES.

No idea. For the most part, besides Elder Scrolls series (I don't include Doom/Quake) is the only gamesas games I care about.

I'm pretty sure only Japanese game studios make those games. Hence the whole Japanese Role-Playing Game.

Yeah. Once Bethesda falls apart.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Beth eventually acquired more properties. Anyone know of any games the devs have repeatedly mentioned being fans of?

I also wouldn't be surprised if they published a sports or FPS game. They were really the pioneers in those fields, back in the day. I doubt it'll ever become their focus again, but they might go back to that territory once, just for old times sake.

Hopefully next generation because this generation has pretty much reached it's limits and I'd like Fallout 4 to be all suped up with next gen graphics and hardware limits.

I think the OP is talking about 20 years in the future or something. Not Skyrim, but TES as a whole. I don't think they will be done with that in a very long time.

Bethesda wont last. Their main hook is large worlds to explore. Other games are startin g to have bigger worlds to explore e.g two worlds. Eventually they just wont stand out, then go bust. Because big worlds are all they have. Look at fallout 3 and TES. Ignore the world, and the gameply is nothing special. They mqy proove me wrong. I mean bioware still gets praised for its poor writing, cod can repackage the same [censored] and get millions of sales. So maybe its less abou the product more about the brand, thats pretty sad.
