Nice armour.
I'm thinking of trying to make some mail armour, although it would be a lot of work, and would take ages. Also been thinking about aketons.
Hey... I recognize that polyester tunic and sugarloaf helm! I've seen it a few times on the Dag boards..
The "would take ages" part is the only thing that keeps me from doing it. I could have a full hauberk and coif for under $100 if I took the time to make them myself...

the chain seen there, was $120 shipped to me, from canada, comes full sleeved, I removed them, and now I may add them back.

I am telling you right now, YOU NEED a padded arming coat under it, I have worn it for 4 hours in dag pratice and it was brutal, if I had a arming coat, I could see my self fighting 6+ hours in that.
The sleaves are long, and bigger than needed, you could always crop them, the will slow you down, i choose to remove them becaue I think it looks fine, and I still have chest armor and free arm movement, I was wanting to be historcly correct, but I gave that Idea up.
The helm is heavy and way over kill for dag, its 16G steel. the brass one is show only. but the big one can take a hit, I advise you not to do it often, but I have taken a full force swing from a wooden stick about 4 foot long, the helm is not the right size, and I was thinking of ordering a seond one, larger around and shorter.
if you have any more questions just PM me.
