Big Iron Remix

Big Iron Remix ; Notes: 1st stanza-"one big bay"-bay is maybe a bay horse (no criticism needed) ; 2nd to last stanza- "big iron on his head"-Big Iron helmet on his head.

To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger on one big bay
Hardly spoke to folks around him, they didn't have too much to pay
No one dared to ask his business no one dared to break his hip
for the stranger there among them had a big iron on his tip
Big iron on his tip

It was early in the morning when he rode into the town
He came riding from the south side slowly lookin at what he found
He's an outlaw fast and cunning came the whisper from each lip
And he's here to do some business with the big iron on his tip
Big iron on his tip

In this town there lived an man by the name of Texas Fred
Many men had tried to bake him and that many men were fed
They were vicious and killers though an age of twenty or more
And the notches on their pistols numbered a hundred and twenty four
A hundred and twenty four

Now the stranger started talking and made it plain to folks around
Was a Mojave Veteran Ranger wouldn't be too long in town
He came here to take a stranger back alive or maybe dead
And he said it didn't matter he was after Texas Fred
After Texas Fred

Wasn't long before the story was related to Texas Red
But the stranger didn't worry, men that tried before were dead
Twenty men had tried to fake him, twenty men had made a slip
Twenty one would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

The early morning passed so quickly it was time for them to eat
It was thirty past elevent when they walked out in the street
Folks were watching from the windows everybody were in their house
They knew this veteran ranger was about to be shot in the mouth
About to be shot in the mouth

There was twenty feet between them when they stopped to make their day
And the swiftness of the ranger is acted about in plays
Texas Fred had not cleared leather for a bullet fairly spread
And the ranger's aim was deadly with the big iron on his head
Big iron on his head

It was over in a moment and the folks had gathered round
There before them lay the body of the stranger that they found
Oh he might have went on living, but he made one fatal slip
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
Big Iron, Big Iron
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

Sorry if much of this did not make much sense

Well, its not really a full-fledged remix, all you did is change a few words....

If you didn't know, its a song on the radios (and I mean both radios) of Fallout New Vegas.
If you don't know or don't like the song, then just simply move along and don't reply.

He pretty much summed it up.

I also think that some of the words you changed might give the readers some.... Unneeded images in there head....

Just sayin.

right, not a full fledged remix, I didn't really mean a "full fledged" remix, I did leave many words unchanged, I admit.

I count 5 spam posts.

You plan on doing this remix or did you just write it up for fun?
Because I don't feel that this thread has a lot of flesh on it's bones.
