Big thank you to Bethesda for adding flecthing.

Post » Thu Jun 28, 2012 4:33 pm

I was hugely surprised when I saw during my typical bout of dagger sharpening "elven arrow (24)" and my brows flared up > bethesda really does listen to its community and that made me very happy.

There was a forum not too long ago about this and it wasnt even that big but the contributions made to it were very good, so its a really good sign that not everything people say here is mostly ignored, all the balancing issues based on the smithing skill was dealt with and the amount of arrows created kept at a reasonable rate.

Why? They have an obligation not to charge for additional content?

I assume the "should've been in the game" from the start thing will be brought up.

giving money to people does not mean they are your slaves and that manners are out the window :/

at least Bethesda listens to the fans.

money =/= people's hard work

money is just a nice way to keep "economy" flowing

Hell, I might have agreed with that point, but if they end up including it in non-free DLC, well, so be it. I'm not gonna cry over it. All this business about what "should" be is a little absurd. So long as everybody keeps the terms of whatever agreements they make, there's absolutely no "should" involved in the entire matter of buying and selling video games.

Beth could have just not added the content. Hell, they didn't have to release Dawnguard. Quit being a greedy bastard.

People have ever-expanding notions of What Everybody Else Owes Them, Dammit.

As always: I have a strong urge to point out the political relevance of all this, but I'm gonna behave myself. :angel:
