My biggest complaint : Fallout: New Vegas

So far, I'm loving game (since I beat the save game problem). But listening to the radio, I find myself missing 3dog (yes, he got annoying at times) and the music from FO3. The radio guy in NV just sounds boring. And the soundtrack just doesn't do anything for me.

Of course it's Wayne Newton, there's video of him recording the segments. Personally I think he's great, really captures the Vegas spirit. I also liked Three Dawg, they just went with a different approach this time, and I think it fits the setting.

Great songs IMO. Especially "aint that a kick in the head." It has a real Vegas feeling. Like you're actually there.

I don't have the game yet, but I can assume that the music will grow on you. Don't force yourself to like it, and I think you'll find that after a few weeks you'll begin to grow to like the warmth and colour that it brings.
Or, on the other hand, it could just be total crap. :shrug:

Speaking of music, how come the girl raiders all look like 70's punks but we are stuck with only the moldiest of oldie music? It's cute for a while but in FO3 I turned off every radio I could find after a few days of playing. Some musical variety (a la GTA III) would have been appreciated.

I think recording studios were hard to come by after the bombs fell, so I don't think music really progressed too much after a certain point.

Everytime I hear the Jingle Jangle song come on, I think of all the trailer teasing and it makes it very exciting, but that is just for me. This game is exactly what I expected, sweetness in a can.
