I know this wouldn't happen due to the fact that there are many better, grander ideas for DLC, but a thought that came into my head earlier was that a feud between the two families would be kinda cool. Maybe they each have quests to chip away at the others influence?

How 'bout they all go away? Skyrim's better off without them.

Im thinking black briars they have connections to the TG and the thieves guild has connections to the dark brotherhood.

I would personally support the Black Briars. Yes, they are the reason that Riften svcks,but the Silver Bloods make people work to the bone for slave wages in silver mines.

.....So, this is a $5.00 DLC. TBH not enough meat on the bone for me.

They're on opposite sides of the province, in completely different businesses. There is no reason for them to compete other than personal pettiness.
