im trying to talk to some orcs in the reach, and ask them to do work, but he says i gotta brawl. so i accept, but when i start the fight, everyone attacks me, and i notice theres this black cloud thing around me. i just did a quest at knifepoint ridge if that helps, dont wanna say spoilers and i dont know how to to the spoiler button thingy lol

Not sure how to do the spoiler tab either, but it is more then likely that you are wearing the (INSERT NAME OF ARMOR PIECE HERE) from Knifepoint Ridge that (INSERT AOE EFFECT HERE), so when you are going into the brawl, it is activating the effect, causing it to hit everyone else around you. Just unequip it before the brawl.

Check if you have on the ebony mail that does poision damage to people around you. I had a similar issue were it was active, even when not in crouch and if you go into a brawl, it will than do damage to that npc. If that is the case, it will cause others to attack you.

I simply dropped mine, picked it back up, and that solved the problem.

Yea, the Ebony Mail kinda stinks in 'friendly' fights. Same for those bar brawls you can get into - they'll scream bloody hell because you are using magic.
