This place just seems so huge that it's got to have more purpose other than the nirnroot quest and the elder scroll quest. What should I be on the look out for? Is there anything notable in there? If anyone can fill me in on some details that would be great. Otherwise I'm done breaking quests on accident by exploring too much.

This forum used to be so active when oblivion was out.. Now this sub-section svcks. What gives? People don't post here.. Yet we have even more people playing the game now than back then. So none of my questions get answered. This will be another dead topic.

Anyways besides from what was already mentioned there isn't much else to do. Besides from exploring and finding decent loot.

there may be more people playing, but most people i know have largely stopped playing and r waiting for mods to come out. the questlines are MUCH shorter and the game is MUCH easier. theres simply little need to go to the forums in the first place...

much like oblivion, what drove that game and that community were the mods.

well kindof... if u find ur first crimson nirnroot in blackreach, u get a quest to find more info on it

Theres another Quest, you get it when you pick up Dark Nirnroot.

There is a hut in which you find the skeleton of Sinderion the master alchemist from Oblivion. Read his journal and yet get a quest to find 30 Crimson Nirnroot in Blackreach.

I had fun with it, but some people find it tedious and the final reward only benefits alchemists. FYI.

Crimson Nirnroot quest, and Hermaeus Mora's quest (Discerning the Transmundane) is parallel to the main quest. You'll notice that Septimus doesn't really care about the elder scroll, he just wanted the box to be "infused".
