Hi everyone. So i was walking around blackreach today with aela, my wife, and had one bug and one wtf moment. The bug was when i entered a cell( the war rooms i think) , when i exited again, blackreach had the lighting effects of the normal world e.g it was qiute light in the Day hoursand it got very dark in the night hours.

My W.T.F moment was when i was decending the steps to the pool with the abandoned pumping ststion, i hear a grunt. So i turned around and found aela fighting 2 frost trolls. Now, being level 37 i killed them easily enough, but what were they doing there? Are they meant to span in blackreach? I am only asking this because i thought the game might have spawned them because it thought the area was the normak world (skyrim). I believe this because of the lighting bug. Does anyone know if they were meant to spawn or if they were a bug?

ive never seen 'normal' (above-ground) creatures in blackreach like that (except the dragon)

I fought 2 frost trolls in there.
But it sounds like your day/night thing is a bug.

Where were the frost trolls you encountered?

I also encountered the frost trolls, I think it's near the falls at the left most side of blackreach, but I haven't explored the whole blackreach so I really don't know if it's the left most part.

I found a giant in blackreach... Near a centurion, now that was a cool fight to watch.

I've run into the frost trolls with two different characters. I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be there.

I also have seen the daylight thing but only with one character. I haven't decided if it's a bug or if it is supposed to be like that.

Near the falls, yep.

The centurion, but had just a small slither of HP left, probably could have run up and punched him out.

I've also encountered a wispmother down there, that wasn't so fun.

Right, yeah. She kicked my butt the first couple times.

The bug with the lighting occurs when you go into the gatehouse and go back to blackreach. I use this to find my nirnroots/fully explore it. It goes away if you go near the entrance where you first come in.

As far as trolls, there are two, there is a roaming giant, a wisp mother and a dragon.
