Blindsighted Bug...help?!

So I don't know if this is a bug or what, but when I get to the point where I am just about to find mercer, I get stuck at the part where he says, Karliah when will you learn you can't get the drop on me.

NOTHING happens and I don't understand why. any tips pleasae?

Go into the cutscene cave.
Open the console (^)
Type: setstage TG08B 40
