BLOATING SAVE FILE: lets narrow down possible patterns (mod

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 4:22 pm

There seems to be a growing number of users suffering the undesirable effects of the bloatead save file. In an attempt find potential patterns for those of us using multiple mods, I figured Id start this thread for those drudging through the forums seeking to identify any repetition with other users with similar mod use.
I most certainly do not wish to question any mod author, who has invested so much personal time and chose to share their hard with us, of a possible negative long term affect from enjoying their mod without plausible indication of a potential problem.
This IS NOT a drop point to gripe or complain about any specific mod or game flaw, but merely a sample group of users trying to collectively identify any pattern bloated save file experience.
All I am suggesting is:
If you are dealing with ctds, stutters, or freezes commonly symptomatic of the bloated save file then,
1- look at your save file history to identify a date round which the bloating began
2-compare that timeframe with mods you downloaded/updated/installed (perhaps from your nexus download history)
3-identify your patch version at that time
Lastly,
4-post that info here.
Ie. A: MODS coinciding with the start of the bloated file
B:SAVE FILE SIZE
C:PATCH VERSION

And of course, if anyone has had any success in identifying Skyrim's alka-seltzer, or a method to relieve some of the pressure, those tips are more than welcome.
Again, lets keep this professional and productive, we are not out to discredit the highest quality of mods we all so love and wish to get back to enjoying.
Thanks for your involvement

I will start it off:
A: RWT highres 2.1 update, skyrim lanterns around cities, occupy skyrim
B: saves were a steady 12-13,000 KB then began increasing in 4,000KB intervals upto 62,000 (constant freezes)
C:VERSION 1.4.27 - 1.5
