Okay so there is a blood dragon in Riverwood and I fast traveled there and found it but Im not strong enough to kill it. So now Im stuck there because I cant fast travel with enemies nearby and I cant escape or kill it. Anyone else have this problem???

Make sure you are putting enough perks into whatever main form of combat you are using, the first perk in the tree can be upgraded a few times and will give you good increases in damage, also make sure you are specializing somewhat, ie you dont want to put perks into both one handed and 2 handed because you cant use both at the same time

for now, I would suggest either turning down the difficulty in the pause menu or letting the villagers and guards help you out (note, some "non essential" npc villagers could die)

Or just run your *** off for the nearest dungeon. They'll typically leave if you make it(at least, that was my experience when I ran into a dragon I couldn't beat, and had to hightail it to Alfthand while chasing the mace I kept dropping down the mountainside )

best way to approach a blood dragon is to hide behind a rock or other large object and wait for it to land. once it does sprint around to between it's wing and hind leg to attack attack attack. repeat until you have killed something.

How can you not be able to kill a Blood Dragon? That's the second weakest dragon in the game.

You totally can. A blood dragon on master can instant kill a player with 100 health and zero resistance merely using his bomb run attack.

Of course there are creative ways to win for the experienced players even under the situtation.
