I was exploring couple days ago then a blood dragon swooped down...and like many times before ''it was on!'' this dragon ate his wheaties before the fight though, for the most part i can handle the dragons but i dont know what got into this one. He barely stayed in the sky, barely took a break from attacking me with fire blasts and always landed right next to me just close enough to snap his jaw and cause me serious damage. Never came across a dragon like this before, dude was relentless, eventually killed him by flinging me in the air once he grabbed me with his jaws. I reloaded the game and went the same route but he never showed... came across several dragons since and none have compared to this one. The one that got away... it felt like this dragon was light years ahead of my character level-wise...and i wouldnt have it anyother way, if only they could all be like that.

I had one in the college grounds.. it even got me when I ran around the pillars to heal.. put its head round and bit me .. chucked me in the air and caught me,, shook my dead body like a rag doll ! I went inside got other mages out.. they said " don't like the look of that " and ran away. He was not bothered.. only wanted me. he was there for days. I could only fast travel from the top tower.. there was no way I could cross the courtyard. I lvled a couple of times before I could kill it.

Yeah their bites really grow in damage as they scale their type. About 40 points difference from dragons to blood dragons. Might have to change those up close melee tactics a bit to start avoiding those bites. Heres the chart, might be handy:

My first elder dragon [censored] ME UP!! I had just crafts myself some dragon scale. So I was feeling like a boss. I went toe to toe with him thinking I was a bad man....yeah stood in his flames a tad too long then I was his lunch as he chomped down on me

I was feeling particually bad one day myself and had a blood dragon swoop down. The fight went on for quite a bit as he would take off and fly around to give me a chance to heal. Then I made the mistake of yelling out "Bite Me Bugger" to taunt him... Was one of those moments because next thing I knew I was a rag doll flying through the air. Reloaded and never saw that dragon again.
