Recently, I've noticed a blue glow inside my character's head that I can see through his eyes. Its like Navi is floating around inside there. Depending on the way your looking at him, you can only see it through one eye at a time. Its driving me crazy, and I have no idea how to get it to go away. I thought it might have been an active spell effect, but I've never seen it before. Then I thought it was vamparism, so i got him cured, and it was gone for like 10 seconds, then it came back. I don't think its a mod, because it just randomly appeared when i was playing. It also is only happening to this particular guy.

If anyone knows what this is and how to get rid of it, help would be very appreciated. If it matters, the character is a Wood Elf, he's been a vampire, which is when this light appeared, and he's now cured. I had 2 different vampire eye mods installed at different times, but i dont think their the cause; its not his eyes, you can just see the glow through his eyes.

As everyone's said, Navi is the little fairy in Ocarina of Time that's almost as annoying as this blue glow.

Wow...that is freaky. Cool, but freaky. I can almost guarantee that it is a mod issue. I would start with the eye mods you spoke of.

It was cool until it wouldn't go away. I've already taken the eye mods out. I'll uninstall mods that may have an effect one by one and see if anything works. But like I said, Its only affecting this guy, which is very strange.

How many mods are you running?
What mod manager are you using?
Are you running BOSS?

Ah the glowing blue eye glitch, I doubt its a mod causing it as it can happen in vanilla games. I don't know of a fix as of yet.

Unless I counted wrong, I'm currently running around 26 mods, I'll list the ones that have anything to do with character appearance if it helps.

I use the Nexus Mod Manager, and I don't use BOSS, I don't even know what that is.

Here's my appearance altering mods.

- Cloaks of Skyrim
- Better Males - Younger Faces
- Envision Faces (Think this is only for females though)
- Better Vampire Sight and Night Eye no Blur

I've already tried uninstalling Cloaks of Skyrim and Better Vamp sight and night eye, with no effects.

I'm about to try uninstalling the other two. They're both optional files to mods I don't use, so hopefully its just one of them not working right without its main file.

Ah crap. That really, really svcks, my poor wood elf is my main guy =(

Back to the drawing board, I guess. Darn you Bethesda, why don't you fix these things!?

OH! Nevermind, I looked at the description on the youtube link and it looks like there's a fix. I'm gonna try it now! Bethesda, I may have spoken too soon.

It's not a mod that is causing it. The fix is in the video I linked in that last post.

Yea, didn't watch the video at first, lol.

But then I did watched it and tried the fix, and it worked!

From the code to fix it, and by the looks of the bug itself, it looks like the glow is not Navi, but the same glow as the draugr eyes. Someone thought it might have been a disease that the devs were working on and decided against, but forgot to erase the code. Sounds plausible to me.

I'm glad you got it sorted, That's good to know the fix works. I am going to copy that console command in notepad. You never know when it might come in handy.

My main character can't get out of Jorvaskr. The game freezes everytime i open the door. But on the bright side, it adds replayability when your main character gets messed up.

I was going to say that it looks like your character is turning into a Draugr, but apparently it's been fixed.

What worries me is that it looks like the eyes in the Dawnguard DLC picture at the Bethblog.

No, the DG DLC pic has yellow eyes. These are blue. No need to worry.
