Quite simply, do you think body length shields would be a good addition to the game in order to protect your entire body (front) from archer attacks and the like? They would obviously have to have a larger carry weight for balance- and possibly even a two handed shield (then it'd be used mostly for closing the distance between you and the enemy).

Massive shields - Absolutely.
Two handed shields - No.

Tower Shields, you mean?

And in Dragon's Dogma, for example, magick shields (that are as big) are two handed, you can't use a weapon while blocking with it. That wouldn't work with Skyrim's system though, if it would occupy both hands you'd need to use hotkeys to switch to the shield, and then back to the weapon

I agree , it can be amazing !

Just imagine it , you're attacking a bandit and he wears a tower shield , it will be much harder to take him out with your bow !

I really hope someone can add this as a mod. Been hoping the vanilla skyrim had this when it wasn't released yet..

2. Attach a handle to it.

4. Shield!

This is actually a good idea. Big shields would be nice. Don't know about a 2H shield, though.
