You do realize that this process has litterally, terrabytes, of information to process. This includes all the different weapons, variations, modifications, ammo types and subtypes, not to mention the game aspects: Damage Per Second (DPS), Base Damage, Fire Rate, Conditionioning (If said game implements a "Weapon has X amount of HP. When HP=0, weapon no longer functions" system like FO does), as well as Accuracy, Spread, effects of afformentioned modifications as well as affects from diffrent types of munitions, which variant of said weapon does what (for example; Say someone scans a M4 Carbine, and then decides they want the other variants: M4 MWS, M4A1, Mark 18 CQBR, SOPMOD Block I, SOPMOD Block II, and SOPMOD Block III. Scanning these things, and actually putting them into a system, would take a processor/scanner capable of processing/scanning terrabytes, if not petabytes of information
every minute.) And thats just covering the numerous weapons. There are literally thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of weapons out there, if not more if you don't minimize the generalization to just Guns/Handheld weapons and include vehicles such as Tanks, Jets, Gunships, Helo's, etc, each one requiring a set amount of data to process and implement. Adding to that the ability to scan an
Atlas and add that land in game? Now assuming you don't mean "well we can just scan the map and it will add a base for it", and you actually mean "Oh we'll scan the map, and everything down to the last blade of grass will be included into this!". That, is imposible, you'd have to gain access to
EVERY and I do mean
EVERY public maps database
just to get the terrain down, and even then, considering there are thousands of locations around the globe, and litterally
hundreds of different environments and ecosystems. The ability to adequately take all these, and put it into a chip, in which you can scan an Atlas and BAM, instant land for your game, is farsicle and utterly impossible. We're talking about Platinum Chip specifications in the
real world here.
Now assuming that we can actually get this done, what out there can actually handle this payload of information? All together we're looking at maybe thousands of zettabytes/yottabytes of information, albeit probably highly unstable information liable to an unbeleivable amount of bugs and game enders. No platform out there can handle this much information, and honestly, I think even a super computer would have trouble processing and implementing what you are suggesting.
So I'll say it again. Unless you have access to a super computer for a gaming PC;
This is outside the realm of possibility with our current tech.
