Anyone know of any books similar to the Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks?

What kind of marines are we talking about here? I just saw the SS runes on the left horn.

And my vote goes to the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb.

it deals with sniper tat's and stuff as well as 'regular' long distance weapons firing.

otherwise, read FMFM1-3B
-I had to memorize it at one point.. thank gawd fer old age :D

Terry Pratchett's "Pyramids" is a brilliant look at the assassin's guild of the Discworld. Worth reading if you like his books, but probably not quite the same style you're after.

I was going to say the Night Angel Trilogy too. Damn, that's a fine trilogy!
How about the Durzo Blint-novella? It is called Perfect Shadow.

It's only about 40 pages long. :(
