I'm finishing up a house for myself and am in the process of making sure everything works correctly. There are a couple of bookshelves that duplicate books if you take them straight off the shelf without using the playerbookshelfclicktrigger. I'm not sure how this is happening to some bookshelves and not others; I only have 8 separate containers and triggers that are being used, so I shouldn't have too many bookshelves active for the one cell. Anybody else have this problem?

Yes I had this problem and sadly I never found out what was causing it. To make long story short, within the same bookcase, I assembled the higher shelf which worked flawlessly without any problems. When trying to do the same thing with the lower shelf I ran into this problem. I was using exactly the same method as for the bookshelf above. No matter what I did, the problem didn't go away and after a whole day of fiddling with it to no avail, I eventually copied the entire upper set up and pasted it on the bottom.

I was asking the same question... why was it only happening to the lower bookshelf if both bookshelves were done by the same method?

This is kind of off topic, But is there a way to quickly populate bookshelves?

This is really getting irritating, I just want it to work properly. I've deleted started from scratch, and it's doing the same [censored] over and over. It might just be a bug the Bethesda needs to fix.

Use the "dummy" book item, associate it with a levelled list for books and then just copy and paste. When you then go to the cell in-game, there will be a variety of books in place of the dummy ones
