Today I loaded up my save to go deathclaw hunting. Boone and ED-E were both helping me out at the time I saved. So I head out to find some deathclaws, and I spot one. ED-E sounds his battle music and charges in, and I wait for Boone to fire...but nothing. So me and ED-E finish off the deathclaw, and I turn around to see why Boone wasn't shooting. Turns out he disappeared. I backtracked to the place I was when I loaded up the game, and there was no sign of Boone. I traveled to the Lucky 38 to see if I left him there. No Boone. I checked every place I remember leaving him...and still no Boone. Is there some kind of glitch that causes companions to disappear? Is there any way I could cheat or something to get him back? (I'm on PC so console is an option)

wow then you ahve the heck of a solution, simply use this 2 commands:

"prid 96bce"
Press Enter
"moveto player"
if he keeps disappearing, just
"prid 96bce"
"disable"
"enable"
"kill"
"resurrect"

look how useful the console is for these situations
