Well, one time I fired Boone and he went back to Novac. After sometime I went back to get him as a companion. But after that happened, He keeps talking to me after a few seconds. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Huh. I've had the same thing happen with Veronica, sans firing- she just randomly started talking to me for no reason every few minutes. She also would stop following me everytime she did so, which was very inconvenient. Only thing I could do to stop it was fire her, unfortunately.
