i need help i cant get past this part i get hit with artillery shells and die lol

talk to the guy on the road. He will want you to pay him 300 caps. If you use your barter skill you can get it down for 200. But once you make it to the boomers you can return and recieve double the payment so keeping it at the 300 would be a good idea. Anyways just run the the north east corner of the first building and wait for the shells to stop comming down on you and high tail it to the next building wait some more and run to the fence. Once your at the fence your safe.

I read that note but does it mean the destroyed buildings or some buildings that i can't see from the safe area?

Yeah.. I died a few times at this..

basically.. they lob like 10-15 shells at you.. then pause for a few seconds while they reload.. then they lob another 10-15.. and so on..

So just start runnin up the road and then duck into the corner of one of the destroyed houses.. or behind something solid.. and wait until the shells stop.. then run ahead and hide in another spot .. and wait till they stop..
