Does anybody know how to get rid of the bounty in markarth? I have went to jail and escaped. Whenever I go in markarh they try to arrest me so I give in it keeps going over and over the same dialogue and won't take me to jail or let me pay the bounty. Anybody got any help they can offer?

try talking to the guard outside of the city gates. that might do the trick.
