Bow Range...

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 8:33 am

Hello, I'm a PS3 user, and I'm just wondering if the range of arrows for the PS3 have become shorter or maybe I just svck at aiming?

Before I can hit targets from very far away, and atm even with my precise aiming I can't...

Also, is do stronger bows have longer range than weaker bows? E.X: Daedric Bow vs. Longbow, do both have the same range?

No idea about the PS3, but on the PC you can tweak the range in the Skyrim.ini file ...

I don't know about the range but I do feel like I am more accurate when zooming in with the perk in the archery tree. (Cant remember what it is called.)

Him, I never had this problem, but, if it helps, go to high ground and shoot downwards, because the velocity is already partially in the direction of the weight, the amount of curvature of the parabala decreases: In laymans terms, if you are shooting at a target below you, you wont have to adjust your aim as much,

Yes, the bows have different range. Range is based on weight. The heavier the bow, the longer the shot. The arrows will rise a little, fly straight for a distance and then drop. The Daedric will fly the longest in the straight distance.

You are quite welcome. However, there is one Bow that is the exception to the rule of weight = range. That would be the Supple Bow. It has the weight of Daedric but the range of a Hunter or Longbow.
