What is your weapon of choice?

I have two caracters each with a a weapon of choice unique to them.

46 Nord, Heavy armor. Weapon of Choice: The Skimitar, Left hand remains open for torch use.

51 Khajiit, Light armor. Weapon of choice: Ebony Bow, no backup Bow or die.. just the way it is

Smuggler (Stealth Archer): Bows or a single dagger only-- NO magic of any kind allowed.

Cleric (D&D sense of the class): Mace/Shield combo, specializing in Restoration and Alteration

Bow > * , especially if you build your char so you're forced to kite (no melee, no sneak, and I don't even take the Ranger perk as it makes kiting too easy). Melee is a bit too easy, and magic has too many overpowered schools.

i try a lot, but the most familiar one to me is wearing a 1hand weapon + shield

Sword or flame right, grand healing left. The right hand is amenable to change, the left isn't.

Oden Krios - Level 34 Nord Warrior - uses two handed swords.

Alimar Esbere - Level 30 Bosmer Archer - Bow or Die

Lorthan Falkor - Level 29 Altmer Mage - Destruction/Conjuration

Norcross Serrius - Level 39 Imperial Spellsword - Scitmitar ( or Blade's Sword )/ Destruction or Restoration.

Nord, with a blade and shield. He never uses axes or maces because they're slower and uglier. Especially maces.

My weapon of choice:

twin one-handed weapons - Legendary Daedric axe in right hand and legendary enchanted dwarven dagger of flames in the other. Used to use a wabbajack until it transformed a low level draugar into a Dremora once killed me. Had to put thing thing on the wall for display after that.

My backup weapons that I always carry are:

Legendary Dragonbane - for use against dragons
Two legendary Daedric swords - for akimbo style twin weilding
Legendary Daedric dagger - for super sneaking up and
Legendary Daedric bow

Seraph -- Dunmer who specializes in Blades and Heavy Armor.

Though right now Im training my 2H with an Ebony Battleaxe and after that I will once again continue to torture myself with the boredom that is training Archery. God I hate Archery in TES.

All time-fave: bows and arrows. One shotting an enemy from afar is the best feeling in the world (of Skyrim).
I also like daggers though, cool animation moves that come with it is a bonus.

Warrior - Torn between Greatswords and Dual Swords
Mage - I'll let you guess that one.
Assassin - Dual Daggers

I don't classify any of my chars, nor will I ever, as a thief. They all will potentially steal at some point, but it's not a carer.

I have yet to play a ranger type. So bows have only been used as a poison delivery system.

Lv. 34 Nord Warrior - Whatever 2h weapon I find that can do the most damage after improvement / dual Ebony war axes if too greatly outnumbered.
Lv. 15 Nord Mage - Destruction magic in each hand, varied by situation (e.g. lightning against other mages), restoration in right and conjuration in left if outnumbered. He dies a lot.
Lv. 17 Imperial Thief - Whatever the best bow I have is while sneaking, Chillrend if discovered, which is rare. Sometimes dual daggers aswell.
Lv. 5 Nord Hunter - Whatever the best bow and arrows I currently have are. Beast form if I'm failing.

Magic Hands for my Breton.

And one Bound Battleaxe for good luck.

I still like 1H the most as far as weapons go. It's just with Skyrim they let me do what I couldn't do in Oblivion (have a Spell AND Sword equipped), thanks to DW'ing. I think my Imperial's my actual favorite to play. But as far as story goes I like my Nord prolly the most.

In Oblivion you can have a weapon equipped and cast spells at the same time ... just sayin'.

Khajiit Heavy armor Ebony Sword in one hand lighting magic in the other sometime I use a bow tho.

Athena--level 34 High Elf mage-- I use destruction mostly but conjure two bound swords if theres too many people, also use restoration a lot. Cant seem to get the hang of the bow thing, and two handed is too slow it frustrates me lol
